BABYTIME SONGS & GAMES
![]() |
Since 1994 the Banff Public Library has provided programming which introduces word games and songs to babies and their caregivers. These songs and activities encourage language acquisition and emotional bonding, which help prepare the child for lifelong learning and literacy. In response to repeated requests, and with financial assistance from the Banff Community Foundation and the Alberta Government, we were able to make sound recordings of the songs and games most frequently used in our program. |
All songs and word games are in the public domain, with the exception
of:
The Canadian Eensy, Weensy Spider © Mary Paston
Wobbly Knees © Alaina Fraser
Your Mama Loves You © Mandi Kujawa
