Banff Library Teen Site

Teens aged 12-17 are invited to participate in the Banff Public Library Teen Book Club. Just drop into the Library on the 3rd Thursday of each month (during school months) for fun and conversation from 3:45 - 4:45 pm.

The 2006/07 Teen Book Club dates are:

Oct. 19,
Nov.16,
no meeting in Dec.,
Jan. 18,
Feb. 15,
Mar. 15,
Apr. 19, and
May 17.

Here’s the monthly drill: we talk about what we've been reading, share book recommendations, and do an activity that ties in with the book theme, then pick a new theme for the next month's reading. In the past, we've had a lot of fun reading about themes like: Exploration, the Supernatural, Time Travel, Pirates, & Media. Teens can also write book reviews to be posted online here.
