This author really captures how teenage angst and hormones can make a person howl! Vivian knows that she's smart, strong and sexy; she also knows she's a werewolf. She loves what she is; loves the night, and the hunt. She loves the powerful and painful magic of "the change," and that all the boys in her pack howl after her. But, shape-shifters make dangerous companions and Vivian wants something more than animal lust once she falls for the sensitive heart-throb at her new school. She thinks this human boy might be special enough to understand her wild magic, but can Vivian tame her undomesticated desires? Or, should she reveal her proud, sleek animal-self to this gentle boy her pack-mates call "meat boy"? Can a predator truly love her prey?

Charlie can see red, glowing things… no, he’s not going crazy! It’s just that he can see “soul vessels.” When somebody dies, their soul enters a “possession” and Death Merchants have to collect them. Unfortunately, the “sewer harpies” are after the soul vessels too, so… this is one interesting part in the book. Another is when Charlie’s daughter says “Kitty” to someone, and the person she aims it at drops dead! What’s going on? Readers are bound to be entranced by this book. Read it… or else!
