Join Banff Public Library and Elena Van Dakuroff in this free mitten-making workshop. Learn how to make your own mittens using recycled sweaters and other fabrics.
Choose to work with a sewing machine or by hand with needle and thread. Several colours of pre-sewn linings will be available. You’ll be able to play with colours and textures to make your own mittens. You can bring some of your old sweaters (preferably felted) or fleece.
Every participant will leave this workshop with a comfy pair of mitts—just in time for the cold and for the holidays!
